We are not very good at eating dinner. Mostly Meimei. Sometimes we can’t stop talking and Daddy is done eating before we even started. Sometimes Meimei refuses to eat anything and lies down on the floor. Usually, we end up making huge messes all over the table, chair, and floor, we stand on our chairs and then Daddy yells at us, and Mommy ends up having to feed Meimei. Oh and also, usually one of us ends up going poop in the middle of dinner. SOMETIMES though, we really like the food and eat everything!

We used to only eat salmon off Mommy’s plate, not our own. Now, we make seaweed salmon sandwiches!
The one thing we always eat is pesto pasta! Meimei loves mushrooms, and saying Mmmmm! when she eats them.
Kayli is 6!!! In the last year, Kayli went from being a ridiculous tantrumy kid to a surprisingly reasonable small person! She is very logical, calm (mostly), patient, and often the only person who can calm Meimei down during her frequent screaming and crying tantrums. Kayli always shares stuff with Meimei and lets Meimei have her way. She loves to make cards and presents for people, and to watch TV! She loves to eat croissants, xian rou su bing, egg mcmuffins, innout burger, and pizza. Oh and she loves chocolate chip cookies with no chocolate chips. Happy 6th birthday Kayli!
This year we couldn’t go anywhere during Christmas vacation because of coronavirus. It’s so bad right now! We wanted to see all of our family or go somewhere fun but all we could do was play at home. We drove Daddy crazy the first week and Mommy crazy the second week!
We made it through Christmas break with NO coronavirus! Here are our Christmas performances during our last week of school. We both sang and participated this year because there were no parents watching! And why are we so close together?? We are suppsoed to be 6 feet apart!
We have gotten soooo good at social distancing and wearing masks. We wear masks all day at school, except when we eat. We wear masks whenever we go out. We don’t get close to anybody — except Mommy and Daddy. Mommy bought like a million thousand hundred masks because we are picky and the masks don’t fit on our faces.

P.S. Actually, Kayli is good at wearing masks and they fit her face fine. Meimei is not as good… and her face is shaped funny… and she has gotten sick twice already!
A couple of months ago, Kayli asked Daddy to build a house for us every day. Daddy thought she meant a Lego house, but no, she meant a house that we could fit in. So then Daddy decided to build it! Here it is!
This year we could not decide what to be for Halloween. First it was going to Simba and Nala. Then it was going to be Mary Poppins and… Mary Poppins. Somehow, in the end we both decided to be Gogo Squeez! Meimei wore Kayli’s old costume and then Mommy and Daddy made a new one for Kayli! Nainai helped too. On Halloween night we trick or treated at Nainai’s house and one neighbor’s house. Somehow Daddy ate most of the candy, but luckily we got a whole bunch more from Auntie Lisa! Here are some goofy pics!
Our cousins let us borrow their roller skates and roller blades, and we love them! Meimei got some roller skates and Kayli got new roller blades. We started out super slow, but now we have elbow pads, knee pads, wristguards, helmets, no fear, and go super (slightly) fast!

Kayli’s first day rollerblading!
Kayli’s 5th day rollerblading. Look how fast she is now!
Now that we are in school, we don’t get to hang out together as much. But every morning before school and afternoon after school and weekend, we do funny things together. We are best sisters when Meimei is not being mean… and she’s mean a lot. But we do find lots of things to do together.
